Perfect for 2nd grade writing and 3rd grade writing, this unit walks students through the entire writing process—brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing—in a clear, structured, and engaging way.

Weeks 3–4 are intentionally structured a bit differently to give students time to read mentor texts, respond to literature, form opinions, and write persuasive letters. While the format shifts slightly, everything you need is still included to keep your writing block running smoothly.
