1. All About the Character: There are 8 short stories about a character. Students read the paragraph. Students read the 4 character trait options. Students choose the character that best describes the character from the paragraph.

2. Read and Find the Main Idea: There are 8 informational paragraphs. Students read the paragraph to find the main idea. Students read the 4 main idea options. Students choose the main idea that best fits the paragraph.

3. Let's Conclude: Students look at the picture and the clues. Students draw conclusions about what happened/is happening. Students write/type their conclusion.

4. Fact and Opinion: Students are given a photograph and a fact and opinion. Students must identify which statement is a fact and which is an opinion.

5. We Know How to Summarize: There are 8 short stories. Students read the short story and look at the picture. Students read the 4 summary options. Students choose the best summary of the paragraph.
