The week includes an original nonfiction reader about giant pandas, a printable student reader, comprehension assessment, and anchor chart templates.

Vocabulary instruction includes picture cards, printables, journal prompts, and an assessment. Each day also features a Deep Dive using mentor sentences to build grammar awareness and comprehension.

A craft and directed drawing with a text-based response provide a meaningful and engaging way for students to apply what they’ve learned.
