K-2 Math Activities Free Resource

We want our math centers to be engaging, effective, AND allow our students to be independent! Some tips to help with this include:
#1: Keep it hands on! In K-2, we want our students to be engaged in the concrete learning of skills and manipulatives help with this.
#2: Make sure your centers are reviewing skills, not teaching them! If we want our students to be independent during this time, they need to know what they’re doing. Differentiating your activities will help students with this.
#3: Take the time to teach each center! I like to do this through a warm up where all my students learn how to complete this center, have the time to ask questions, and practice it whole group before they go off and play independently.
This 15-page addition freebie includes different hands on centers, partner games, and higher-order thinking activities for students to complete!
