About this resource
Bring a little celebration into math review with this hands-on Balloon Pop game! Place the included number review cards inside balloons for students to pop and solve. You can also use the cards without balloons for math centers, partner work, task cards, or whole-group review.
The cards provide mixed practice with important number sense skills, making this activity a fun choice for the end of a numbers to 20 unit or a special classroom number celebration.
Students will practice skills such as:
- Identifying missing numbers
- Representing numbers with ten frames
- Comparing numbers
- Counting forward and backward
- Identifying numbers that come before and after
- Recognizing numbers in different forms
This activity is designed for kindergarten and first grade and can be used with the entire class or in a small-group math setting.
