About this resource
Make place value review feel like a celebration with this two-digit number Balloon Pop game! Place the included review cards inside balloons for students to pop and solve. The cards can also be used without balloons for task cards, math centers, partner work, or small-group instruction.
Students will review a variety of place value and number sense skills while working with two-digit numbers.
Students will practice skills such as:
- Ordering two-digit numbers
- Comparing numbers
- Identifying tens and ones
- Representing numbers with base-ten blocks
- Making groups of ten
- Counting forward by ones
- Applying place value understanding
This activity is a fun option for first or second grade place value review, the end of a math unit, or a classroom number celebration.
