Earth Day will be here before we know it! April 22 is Earth Day, although we all know how important it is to protect our earth every day. Earth Day gives us the opportunity celebrate how much we appreciate our world and come together to protect it.
If you are looking for a super simple and effective way to celebrate Earth Day in your classroom, these Earth Day task cards are just the thing! This freebie offers you 16 task cards that get your students reflecting,thinking, and planning for how to protect our Earth not only now, but for years to come! These task cards present students with different questions or tasks that allow them to better understand what role they play in protect our Earth.
You could use these cards in several ways! One way would be to have your student respond to a question or two each day leading up to Earth Day. Another idea would be to post the cards around the room and have students work in partners to respond to the prompts. These cards would also be great for a scoot game!
