Kindergarten Magic of Math Unit 8 Slides: Numbers 11–19 & Place Value by Hope King, Amy Lemons and Get Your Teach On

About this resource

Make teaching teen numbers to 20 clear, visual, and engaging with these Kindergarten Magic of Math Unit 8 Instructional Slides. These slides are designed to pair directly with the Magic of Math Kindergarten Unit 8 printable curriculum, giving you visual support as you introduce, model, and practice each day's math skill.

Throughout the unit, students build number sense as they count, model, read, write, and represent numbers to 20. They will also explore the structure of teen numbers and begin to understand that numbers 11–19 are made up of one ten and some ones.
