Saturday, October 3rd: Build the Foundation

On Saturday morning Hope King will focus on high-quality Tier 1 Instruction through Get Your Teach On's Five to Thrive framework: five high-impact instructional practices that create a common language for teaching and learning across classrooms, grade levels, and schools. We'll move beyond broad instructional expectations and get specific about the practices that have the greatest impact on what students experience every day.
Then, Saturday afternoon will tackle one of the biggest challenges facing educators right now: student behavior. Andre Deshotel will take the stage for a practical deep-dive into behavior and classroom management. Because behavior management isn't separate from instruction.

Sunday begins with the systems that make great instruction possible. Hope King will unpack five foundational classroom systems she teaches before almost anything else: simple, repeatable routines that help students transition efficiently, participate consistently, take ownership of their learning, and maximize instructional time.
Later Sunday, Wade King will take solid instruction and show you how to elevate the experience: transforming everyday activities, increasing participation, building anticipation, and creating the kinds of learning experiences that keep students invested and on the edge of their seats.
