Celebrate gratitude and get students writing this November with the I Am Thankful Turkey Craft Booklet! Students build a turkey with writing feathers, then expand their ideas on booklet pages to create a festive Thanksgiving display.

This flexible craft can be used three different ways, so it fits easily into your writing block, your reading lessons, or your Thanksgiving celebrations.

Three Ways to Use It

• I'm Thankful For: Students write what they are thankful for on the turkey feathers, then expand those ideas into sentences on the booklet pages.
• Let's Talk Turkey: Students describe turkeys with adjectives on each feather and write turkey facts on the booklet pages.
