Help students discover how readers create pictures in their minds with Quit Calling Me a Monster by Jory John! This Kindergarten Rooted in Reading unit includes 5 days of lesson plans and activities focused on mental images, making connections, vocabulary, grammar, and close reading.
Students will practice creating mental images as they read and discover how those images can change as they gather new information from the text.
