Dive into a week of reading, vocabulary, grammar, and meaningful literacy instruction with Thank You, Omu! by Oge Mora! This Kindergarten Rooted in Reading book unit provides 5 days of lesson plans and activities designed to help young readers describe the beginning, middle, and end of a story.

Throughout the week, students will recall the events of the story in order, describe what happens at the beginning, middle, and end, and learn about the helpers in their own community while developing comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and language skills.
