Grow to Graph an Apple Tree | Apple Graphing Math Activity

Make graphing and data analysis hands-on with this fun Grow an Apple Tree math activity! Students spin to determine which color apple to add to their tree, then use their completed apple tree to create a graph and answer questions about their data.

Students can complete the activity independently or with a partner, making it an easy addition to math centers, small groups, or your fall math lessons.

How It Works

Students use the included apple spinner to spin for a green, yellow, or red apple. After each spin, they draw an apple of that color on their apple tree.

Students continue spinning and adding apples until their tree is full. Then, they transfer their results to the included graph and use the data to answer questions.
