Build place value understanding with this Candy Corn Place Value Math Craft! Students represent a number in multiple ways as they complete the sections of their candy corn character.

Students work with 2-digit, 3-digit numbers , 4-digit numbers and practice representing numbers using standard form, expanded form, word form, and base ten blocks. Additional pieces extend the practice with concepts such as even and odd and 10 more or 10 less.

This fall math activity combines hands-on place value practice with a finished project that makes a fun classroom display.
